What kind of production units moved to a selected area?

Learn how to analyse the different types of production units that have moved to a specific area using our Moving Patterns tool.

To start, go to the Moving patterns page and use the map tool to select your desired area. Then, in the "More filters" section, choose the period during which production units have been relocated by selecting the "Last relocation" filter.

If necessary, refine your search by applying filters such as the number of full-time employees, sector, and other relevant criteria.

To gain insight into the movement of production units, simply hover over the purple areas on the map. This will reveal the number of units that have relocated to the selected green area within the specified period. The map will also indicate any units that have moved from one address to another within the chosen area.

The graphs and tables will provide information on the origin of the companies (by zip code), the number of employees they have, the sector they belong to, and their current likelihood of moving.
